I was lucky. I never ran into them. I saw them briefly from a distance with the drone on survey but that was it. And then they all died. 🙂

@@markgeneroso9976 Yes it does, but it is pretty slow. If you keep mining, it won't catch you. If you need to mine something that takes a long time, then hide behind a block and make sure that it cannot hit you when you the block is mined. It is a pain, but fairly easy to avoid

Thank you but I don't think they will. From my experience here in Japan, groupthink rules in many Japanese organizations, especially politics. Once a course of action is decided, everyone gambaru's or perseveres even if a better solution comes up. It is why, in my opinion, they didn't surrender until late in WW II. They were not fanatic like they are often portrayed; just they couldn't see themselves doing anything different from what they had been doing all along. As I pointed out in the video, they have plans in place when disaster strikes. But when those plans fail, they become fatalistic. Shikata ga nai/It can't be helped.

Another thing: this is not the worst possible disaster that will happen. The Nankai Trough Earthquake will cause far more damage. I will be doing a video on that later.

That is too bad. I didn't find my first ambrosia until I reached Overlord. What level did you reach? I know at the beginning when the game first started, there was a problem with ambrosia not spawning, but that was eventually fixed

Yep. Still works but now there are some caves in the way so you will have to mine back up to the depth of 420 in some places
